Education, Experience & Competency
Please tell us about your qualifications, education and employment.
You will be selected for interview based on the competencies outlined in the job description and person specification. You should therefore use this section to demonstrate relevant skills, knowledge and experience in relation to the role. Using this competency approach ensures CSCI does not discriminate against candidates because it allows you to clearly tell us if you can demonstrate the skills identified in the job description and person specification.
You should give full details of all educational, technical and professional qualifications, with attainment levels and subject areas clearly defined. We need this information to ensure you have the qualifications required for the job.
Please give details of any learning and development that you have undertaken which is relevant to the role.
You should also give details of membership of associations or professional groups.
Please give details of your current or most recent employment, detailing the key skills you developed and any key achievements that are relevant to the role. You should also provide details of your last two employers and outline your duties.
You should provide any other information that demonstrates you have the skills and competencies outlined in the job description and person specification within the personal statement. This includes any previous work experience relevant to the role that is additional to the experience you have outlined in the employment section of the application form. Please note that we will not accept a CV. This is to ensure that information provided to the panel is consistent and relevant. This also assists with ensuring that CSCI does not discriminate against candidates.
If a driving licence is a prerequisite of the role, please also complete the section on driving.
You should provide details of two referees, one of whom must be your current or most recent employer and the other a past employer. We will only make contact with your referees with your expressed permission.
We also ask that you declare any unspent criminal convictions you may have. This does not automatically bar a candidate and is intended to ensure CSCI complies with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
You should give details of any dates you are not available for interview. This is to help us to accommodate all applicants wherever possible.
We would be grateful if you could specify where you saw the vacancy advertised. This is to help us to continuously improve our recruitment methods.
Please sign and date to declare that the information you have provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
